Every Roadster we’ve worked on with front end damage has arrived with broken hood supports, as a result of the hood becoming unlatched and swinging open with great force. This usually resulted in the hood landing somewhere away from the car and shattering on impact. An original hood from Tesla (if available) is upwards of $6,000. Hood supports were $1,000/pair, and are no longer available because we’ve used up the remaining inventory repairing cars. These improved supports are machined from carbon fiber plate and will give your hood a better chance to survive a collision. They just happen to look really nice too. Available from us for $425/pair. Metal hardware is not included.
